Let’s imagine you are planning a road trip with your family. Apart from finalizing the destination, making reservations, and getting your bags packed, there are a few more things that could possibly upset your plans:
1. Your family starting on time.
2. The health status of your car.
3. The road, weather, and traffic conditions.
4. All members are in good health.
We don’t often plan or strategize for these hiccups, yet the possibility of any of these happening cannot be overruled. Any imbalance here or there can derail your plans.
Similarly, when it comes to your journey of life, there are hiccups along the path. Your overall well-being hinges on certain factors, which have the power to affect your mindset, emotions, and wellbeing. What are some of these factors?
The importance of food is obvious, yet ignored. The food we consume constantly supports or impacts our body and our mental as well as emotional state. Every food that we eat has a timeline — starting from the very decision of eating that food, to how you feel 30 minutes after you have eaten it. #Food is nourishment, it is not a diet or trend. Dr. Mark Hyman, an American celebrity physician once said, “Food is not calories; it is mainly instructions and information that upgrades or downgrades our gene expression, hormones, and even brain chemistry.” 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥?
When we signed up for planet earth, we get the entire spectrum of emotions and #feelings. There is no escape from them. Feelings are what determine the kind of person you are today. A number of today’s lifestyle diseases are primarily caused by suppressing our emotions and feelings. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘰𝘸? 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘭 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘴 “𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 _____”?
There is an old saying, “Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are.” True that! The kind of people you associate the most with will greatly impact your today and your tomorrow. 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩? Add more people to your life who look ahead, who are keen learners, and who have an appetite for growth and vision.
Faith is the result of current belief systems as shaped by experiences. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶? Does your belief system help cultivate prosperity and fulfillment for yourself and inspiration for others? Or is your faith self-righteous and ill-directed?
Fables are the imaginary stories we tell ourselves. If done right, they empower you with wings to do the impossible. If done wrong, they will keep you trapped in the downward spiral of misery. 𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘰?
Remember, you must be mindful of these five influencers as they can have a significant impact on your journey of life.
